RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE

This program will be of academic and professional interest to ER, OR, ICU, Intermediate Care, and Med-Surg nurses; pre-hospital personnel (EMTs / Paramedics); advanced practice nurses; allied health professionals and physicians.

GOAL

The goal of this annual conference is to provide relevant evidence-based information and stimulate discussion about new and innovative advances in the fields of trauma and critical care. This conference is designed to meet the learning need of all disciplines that are involved in the care of the trauma critical care patient.

ACCREDITATION

EMS Continuing Education units will be offered via MIEMSS. This activity has been submitted to the UMMC Office of Clinical Practice & Professional Development, an approved provider by the MNA for approval to award contact hours. The Maryland Nurse Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

FEES

Tuition fees include coffee, morning light snacks, daily buffet lunch, afternoon snack and teaching materials. A written cancellation notice is required no later than October 16, 2011 for a refund. The course registration fee is refundable minus a $45 administrative fee with the written cancellation notice.
